I hope you guys can forgive me. I know that the past two posts about Uluru have been a pretty dry read. Essentially I've only been giving you a glorified itinerary of our trip. I think this is because it seems a little like a task to write about the adventure. Please forgive me, but I am choosing to take a few days (one or two) so that when I approach it again it will be more entertaining for me to write and therefore will affect my writing and make it more enjoyable to read.
I am sorry for making you wait to hear about Uluru itself, but honestly Uluru itself is not the only highlight of the trip; Kata Tjuta was not the least of the highlights.
Today I went with Alex and Ryan with the Exchange Society on a wine tour of the Barossa Valley. Great day: lots of wine tasting, bought some delicious dessert wine, and beautiful weather... but that is a story for another day.
